The layout is very good. The site had a big update in 2011 and a few great navigation features were added. We value the "next 3 races" tab which loads the next 3 races by starting time. If you are a keen racing punter you will find that this saves you quite a bit of time. There is also a special links section which has the biggest/most popular events which is great for recreational punters who just want to bet on the stuff they are likely to watch. The site also manages to have good navigation between bet types and different markets of the same event which is a big feat considering the range.

Service & Support

There is a great help page which has video lessons which can be used to figure out everything you need to know. Phone help is brilliant and they will take the time to explain every detail of the exchange system. Live help is not available so that becomes the only area they lose points for this section.

Bet-Types

Betfair has expanded to offer Tote betting and exotics but the main function of the site remains the exchange so it would be unfair to mark them down for having less bet types than the other bookies.
